PostHeaderIcon What are the best POS systems for bars?

We are opening a bar/lounge in the Dallas area and we are pricing POS systems right now for the budget, but I cant seem to find on that I am comfortable with. We realize the cost of these systems so money is really no object as we are looking for a sort of all-in-one system and we are willing to pay for the best hardware/software. We are looking for something that will track sales, obviously, inventory, payroll and something that is fast and efficient. We also want something that has a “bartenders bible” or some sort of managable recipe book for drinks that can be easily accessed in a hurry. As a former bartender, I hate asking for the recipe for a drink.

PostHeaderIcon Payroll Outsourcing and Payroll Software Services Over Manual Payroll Systems

Having a payroll system is important for small and large businesses alike. The payroll system produces payslips for the employees, calculates the income tax and national insurance deductions, and sends the final accounting to the tax office during tax filing.

Most medium and large scale businesses have their own payroll staff that does the aforementioned tasks. Small businesses opt for outsourcing payroll services because they lack the experience with regard to the payment system. Although you can probably save a lot of money by manually producing the payroll, outsourcing still remains to be the best option for many reasons.

First of all, outsourcing saves a lot of time and energy. You do not have to manually calculate the payroll deductions and hassle yourself with them. Moreover, you would not have to deal with exceptionally complex employee situations, especially if you are inexperienced in payroll processes. The outsourcing company will already take care of that.

Outsourcing payroll may be a little more costly as compared to manual payroll computations, but you are sure that you get your money’s worth because the company that handles your payroll is experienced in their field. You can even ask for their advice regarding complex payroll problems so that you would know what to do if ever you have to deal with those kinds of problems in the future.

Also, if you compare payroll outsourcing services to the cost of employing payroll specialists in your company, you will see that you are able to save a whole lot of money with the former. Aside from saving money, you are also sure of an all-around service, since tax deduction schedule preparations, year end certificates, and employer annual returns are also managed by your payroll outsourcing company.

If you prefer not to hire payroll outsourcing services, the next best thing is to find payroll software, which is ideal for large companies. These programs are geared toward dealing with a high number of employees. However, there are also software programs that can be used by small and medium-scale businesses, which are less complicated than the software for large companies. This is a cheap alternative to outsourcing.
